The ribbon – metaphor for „things being bound“ – opens up spatially towards the park in direction of the Luther-oak. On the whole, this group of trees defines the park with a welcoming gesture and gives it the necessary depth. The wall along the southern side, pinned down to sitting-height, accompanies the path from the main entrance of the church to the new parish spaces. The path reacts to the built context. Accordingly, the floor covering along the massive church right up to the new building will change from big-scale to smaller stone format to a road-metal covering.
